Setting it up!

My mother and I had brunch with a friend / co-worker, his wife, his parents last Sunday. it was the first time Jason’s parents would meet mine (my lone separated mother). All three are transplants from other states, retired and enjoying the California weather. At the end of meal, as we were saying our goodbyes, his mom already had ideas of setting me up with someone or another. I didn’t pay attention, because I’m not really down with being set up. Lots of peeps have offered to set me up with so and so; most frequently when I lived in LA; must be a shortage of good males down in SoCal. Not surprising. =) So far, I’ve found my own way through life, and I’m pretty sure I’ll find me a wife … I hope. Maybe. Hmm.
