I stumbled upon Locomotive, "a simple tool to help you develop Ruby on Rails applications on Mac OS X." It's self-contained, running your Ruby instance within a jailed environment. The best part is that I don't have to worry about compiling Ruby to upgrade from the default version that shipped w/ OSX.

Ruby, ruby, ruby, ruby soho. Time to learn to learn another language and framework.

   Rails is too mainstream man. Be the rebel you are. Try Django and python.
