Power. Ego. Position. Individualism. Capitalism. Exploitation. That's corporate America.

Office politics is for pansies. I'm sick of big company politics and the 'status quo'. I always believed that if you "trusted your gut, do what's right and cut the bullshit", then you'll gain the respect of your peers and anything you do will be grand. No football team can win if its 11-person defense does not work together to hit their gaps and cover their zones.

When a person is lauded for achievements not theirs alone, for demeaning others to achieve their goals and frankly alienating themselves from their teammates, that's just soddin' bollocks. It's putting the wrong type of individual above the team and condoning that same behaviour. Respect is earned from all directions and not just above.

I dream too much of a better world and rules less perverted.
