Entry: I've refactored some code and wrote some new to create a Friendfeed - Shadowbox.js - Google Charts mashup. It looks very similar to m' individual friendfeed page, but I think the Shadowbox multimedia library has a far better experience. Seriously, kudos to Mike Jackson who wrote a very impressive piece of foo, abstracted properly to plug into various JavaScript frameworks (YUI, jQuery, MooTools, etc.)

Also, I've augmented the Good Songs list w/ the Yahoo! Media Player, so you can listen to a plethora of m' favorite songs. You can even right click and save the MP3s =)

Google released an API to generate charts via a URI.
"That's it - no state, no calls, just send your data in an http request and get a png image graph back. Embed the request in an img tag and you're done. We currently support line charts, bar charts, pie charts, scatter plots, and sparklines."
It reminds me of a Y! colleague who did something similar for an internal tool (yet another dashboard for execs). Is it reusable? No, prolly not. The main point I want to make is that now Google can use this feature across all their products, whilst each Y! fiefdom will continue to reinvent over and over that same wheel.
