Clinton's gotta go. If she really has a five percent chance of picking up the Democratic nomination, then it's time to sacrifice pride for the good of the nation.

She and her campaign reminds me of the senior / executive teams of corporate America, spouting cliches and buzzwords, pandering to the basic levels of human emotion—sounding articulate and making the minions feeling safe and secure—and pointing fingers at others to make oneself look better.

I reckon every social structure follows the same anti-pattern whether it is a corporation or political campaign: power at the top, held by the few who play the game to personal advantage, above the needs of the majority, while those who want to achieve correctly / righteously—minus the bureaucratic shenanigans and bullshit—fight the uphill battle with twice the effort.

Democrats, please, cut the crap.

Entry: With the Democrats' family feud and McCain ready to begin his quest for the White House, wouldn't it be so appropriate if the Republicans won the big election?

The whole situation is reminiscent to big company politicking, where two dickheads duke it out for resources and bragging rights, while the big asshole swoops in unnoticed and shits on both of 'em.

Entry: Wow, Facebook is pushing itself into important issues by sponsoring (or however they are participating) the "online" piece to the Presidential Debates in New Hampshire. I've played w/ their FB Politics App and it's refreshing to read perspectives from other members, sans some of the 'noise.'

I'm surprised that Y! hadn't tried to jump into the opportunity, riding the election year (at least 10 months) marketing bandwagon; Yahoo! is a media company, ain't it? Or is it just an entertainment portal, an online "cable TV box?" What was its mission statement? "Share .... communities .... explore ...." Hmm, yeah.

A year and half ago, Y! Answers opened its doors to politicians and discussed important issues w/ tens of thousands of responses. See Hilary Clinton, Nancy Pelosi, Barack Obama, Mitt Romney. Could it have been more? It should have been.

Okay, if Facebook can engage more and more of apathetic America, then more power to 'em, regardless of the beacon bullshit and being the latest web 2.0 whipping boy for Techcrunch and Valleywag. The interwebs is much, much more than just advertising and porn.

I really want to believe that. As long as folks can gorge at buffets, bop to their iPods and live it up lavishly in Vegas, there's not much grumblin' that's gonna happen. Seriously, the States has much more than a plethora of nations and Americans shouldn't complain, right?

It's human nature to complain. So are the liberals just griping or is it a legitimate complaint that our education and healthcare programs plain out suck? The same lefties claim that the right keep poor folks uneducated, to keep them poor. I think they (the corporations, the aristocrats) just don't have enough financial incentives to help w/ social problems. ROI: return on investment. When money can be made, then they'll give a fuck.

As long as US citizens remain docile, complacent with their 500 channel satellite systems, Nintendo Wiis and grande non-fat soy lattes, I doubt anyone will start doubting our government and the corrupted system we Americans live in.

Or it could be me watching too many lefty, independent shows. I must fair and balance myself =)

Entry: No, I'm not leaving Y! Well, not yet. Meaning, not right now.

It seems as if the boats are sailing for many of m' Y! comrades. All those that are leaving are, what I consider, worker bees. That's a lot of intellectual property out the door; managers and senior level folks don't really how difficult building and maintaining n-tier web software can be.

On the flipside, every company has its problems. Politics, bureaucracy, you know it happens; the grass always seems greener til you get there. Then again, a new start, a fresh beginning can rejuvenate a beaten soul.

Where do I fit in? If my ears could open as wide as much as my eyes .... well, I have fairly big Asian eyes =) Ha ha. Oh, what's that I hear? ....

Entry: Breaking news (well, it was yesterday): The republicans have sacrificed D-Rums to the Dems as a peace offering after losing control of Congress. President Bush layed the former Secretary of State on a giant granite altar, cutting into each limb. Donald enjoyed a slow death, much less painful than the torture techniques he authorized for the War on Terror.

Okay, that was lame.
