Breaking the boredom ...

Life’s a lot less exciting living in the ‘burbs and my ma. I’m thinking of a new tattoo. I really really want ink on back. Half a year ago, I went to a tat artist, recommended by Cat Keeler, a co worker o mine. He etched a brooding gargoyle, sitting, pondering, the back of his hands touching, his claws pointing down … I didn’t know he wanted to ink my entire back. I chickened out. I couldn’t afford over $1500, over 10 hours of pain and blood … Now, i’m thinking about a scorpion on my upper back, ala El Mariachi, who had a scorpion sewed on his black jacket in Desparado. It’ll go well with the other earthy and slithery tats. Sounds cheesy, but that’s how i got the idea for the cobra on my arm: Vil Kilmer’s character in Heat had a couple of prison tats, one of which was a hooded snake. You can see it for a couple of seconds, midway through the movie, when he is lying wounded on a table. Hmm, gotta think about it …
